"Whether you're in need of some relaxation or you need something more invigorating, Swedish Massage is a brilliant therapy that works on the whole body"

So what exactly is Swedish Massage? Basically, it's what you think of when you think of massage. It uses a serious of different techniques, gradually increasing in depth, including long gliding strokes, kneading, frictions, shaking, or tapping. The aim is to thoroughly work on your muscles, and release knots and tension.

Swedish massage is brilliant for easing stress, and encouraging you to relax. It can improve your circulation, increasing the level of oxygen in the blood and decreasing muscle toxins, helping you to feel generally more alert and improving your general wellbeing. Regular massage will improve your flexibility and help you to move more easily.

I'll always sit down for a consultation with you first so that the treatment can be tailored exactly to you. You might want a very gentle, soothing massage, or you might want something a little bit firmer and more invigorating. You might have problem areas you'd like to focus on. There might be some aspects of the treatment you're not sure about, or not keen on. Or you might have a medical condition that means we need to make a few adjustments. That's all absolutely fine - it's your massage! So make sure you tell me exactly what you'd prefer.
